The legendary Odessa hotel "Bristol" is 120 years old
The business card of Odessa - "Bristol Hotel", erected by the prominent architect Alexander Bernardazzi in 1899, celebrates its 120th anniversary
Grand Hotel "Bristol" is one of the main architectural attractions of Odessa and is inextricably linked with the centuries-old history of the city.

The building was built in neo-baroque style by two eminent architects: Alexander Bernardazzi and Adolf Minkus. Bristol was the first four-story building in the city, and a telephone was installed in each of its rooms, electric lights and hot water were connected, which were not widespread then.

Ivan Bunin, Vera Kholodnaya, Theodor Dreiser, James Aldridge, Henri Barbus, Isaac Babel, Leonid Utesov, Innokenty Smoktunovsky, Andrey Mironov, Bogdan Stupka, John Malkovich, Armand Hammer and many others stayed here.

The hotel has survived several eras, which have had many trials. Today Bristol is part of the Vertex Hotel Group chain along with Londonskaya, the first hotel in Odessa, and the Kiev President Hotel. "Bristol Hotel" is the only hotel in the city that has two presidential suites, as well as exclusive themed rooms from leading world designers Fendi, Missoni and Ralph Lauren. The hotel has 113 apartments, a SPA center with panoramic city views, a ball-room and three conference rooms.
